Autoprinting
Ownage Manufacturing (OMFG, a division of Ownage Inc) is a proof of concept platform, demonstrating the ability to rapid manufacture custom, high quality products on demand from 3D data.
What makes us special is that we create pieces from only the best materials and technologies available. Our 3d printing platforms create objects in toy grade plastic material. The plastic has the texture, durability, and quality of a rigid PVC mix. In comparison, other 3D printing technologies such as ZCorp, FDM, and sinter will glue together your model from many small particles, creating a final piece that is both fragile and/or has rough surface quality. Ownage prints only in toy-grade plastic. Furthermore, we print flying model pieces (hair & swords) in flexible polymers for a truly commercial grade finish.
VFX Artists then painstakingly rebuild pieces that cannot be printed (strings, thin pieces, etc) using epoxy resins. We then airbrush and color your model using gorgeous lacquers and enamels combined with automatic computer-controlled painting for clean details.
If you don’t have your model textured, don’t panic, send us an inspiration photo and we can do it.
Often requested finishes are Metallic, Ambient Occlusion bakes (subtle grey tone with shadowed recesses). We can also mould and cast pieces, electroplate, and produce low-cost, professional PVC figure runs as needed.
Orders take 3 weeks (shipping incl). We ship worldwide. We can finish models in a week. But the door to door time can be faster or slower due to shipping.
